Our Projects
Your donations to CDF help to fund co-operative development around the world and in Canada. This includes raising the matching funds required under CCA’s $20 million agreement with the Partnerships with Canadians Branch of CIDA. CDF funds leverage CIDA’s matching funds to support all projects covered under the agreement.
In addition, CDF funds also support selected specific projects within the CCA-CIDA agreement. For example, in 2011, CDF funded these specific projects:
- 13 international projects in Africa, Asia and The Americas
- 2 global projects: the Women’s Mentorship Program and the International Youth Internship Program (IYIP)
- A First Nations, Métis and Inuit Co-operative Development Program in Canada
