Webinar Invitation: Our Photovoice Project
Last year, we unveiled the results of Photovoice in our Rwanda project online. This year, we’re inviting you to join us in a free webinar for a personal presentation of Photovoice within our recently-closed FOSTERING Ghana project, which helped smallholder farmers and their co-ops to create food security and eliminate hunger gaps in their communities.
Check out the video below for a sneak preview of the results we’ll share in the webinar.
What is Photovoice?
Photovoice is an innovative and participatory approach to project evaluation, in which smallholder farmers in our FOSTERING project were given disposable cameras and invited to show us how the project impacted their lives. In the webinar, we’ll share the photos and stories of farmers who participated in FOSTERING, and discuss how we used Photovoice within our project monitoring.
Through the photography of Ghanaian smallholder farmers, you’ll learn about:
- impacting lives around the world through co-operative development,
- capturing and communicating impact through an interesting and innovative vehicle,
- working with Ghanaian smallholder farmers to increase food security, financial stability and gender equality, and
- increasing the stability and profitability of credit unions in Ghana.
When is the webinar?
This free webinar will take place on June 7, 2018, from 2pm to 3pm EST.
