In keeping with worldwide precautions and restrictions relative to COVID-19, the Co-operative Development Foundation of Canada (CDF Canada) have diligently postponed the Women’s Mentorship Program (WMP). This decision was not made without thoughtful deliberation and assessment. COVID-19 is top of everyone’s mind – employers, all levels of government, world health agencies and many others have taken proactive health and safety measures to contain this virus. The well-being of everyone involved with CDF Canada and its programs is our top priority!
We have assured our supporters, and so many committed people involved in the WMP Program, that the entire CDF Canada team are dedicated to delivering this meaningful program! Once we receive conclusive confirmation that it is safe to proceed, we will resume WMP activities. We have communicated this decision to our participants who are located around the world and they concurred and completely understood the rationale for the postponement.
There is no way for anyone to know when to expect a level of normalcy to return, but we remain patient and committed to doing our part to combat this virus and to protect our people. In the meantime, our sincere thanks for your patience and understanding, while we navigate through this pandemic. We look forward to our next communication when it is time to resume activities for this meaningful program.
