Barb’s role with our partners is to provide mentorship to local agricultural cooperatives on business development. They work together to create strategic plans to achieve specific goals that will:

• Increase Wealth and Food Security through the Integrated Co-operative Business Model.
• Ensure cooperatives are well informed of their roles and allow them to make inclusive decisions.
• Increase access to financial services collectively (and individually).

• Allow them to collectively market their products to ensure a long-term sustainable financial wellbeing.

The experience is very rewarding and allows Barb to witness first-hand how cooperatives can change the financial well-being of individual farmers.
