Overcoming cyclone and drought, vegetable seed provides food and additional revenue for farmer’s family
18 September 2024When Tropical Cyclone Freddy struck Malawi in spring 2023, its devastating effects were felt deeply across communities. Among those hardest hit was Roseby Mukawa. The cyclone left her crops in ruins and her family's future uncertain. The Tropical Cyclone Recovery Project supported Roseby with vegetable seeds, fertilizer, maize seeds and cassava cuttings which were crucial resources for rebuilding her farm and life.
