Environmental Human Rights Care & Gender Organization (Envirocare) and CDF Canada collaborate to work on Climate and Gender Equity

Environmental Human Rights Care & Gender Organization (Envirocare)  and CDF Canada are pleased to announce their partnership to support co-op communities towards capacity building, agriculture and rural development, promote gender, and reduce the impact of climate change.

Envirocare and CDF Canada share a common vision to provide sustainable solutions to co-op communities.  We will collectively work on projects that will help accelerate agriculture, support rural development, and promote gender equity.

Loyce Lema, Executive Director of Envirocare, said, “The organization values collaboration with like-minded organizations and has joined a number of local, national and international networks to increase achievements. Envirocare, in collaboration with CDF Canada, will learn and share knowledge and information to achieve the desired objectives and millennium goals to address the development issues and climate change”.

Commenting on the collaboration Mr. Benoit André, Executive Director CDF Canada, said, “This partnership will combine the implementation experience of CDF Canada with the strengths of environmental justice, human rights and gender equity of Envirocare, which will help in building sustainable communities.”

Through this collaboration, Envirocare and CDF Canada will participate in joint projects and research initiatives and share best practices and lessons learned.
